Why does the BTC withdrawal fee depend on the network?
Exchanges set a separate flat fee for each blockchain they let you withdraw on, because each network has its own transaction costs. The same exchange can charge very different amounts for the same coin on two networks. Where a figure was read from the exchange's API, the table shows the network it applies to (Bitcoin).
Is the withdrawal fee a percentage of the amount?
No. Every figure in this table is a flat amount in BTC, charged once per withdrawal regardless of size, so it weighs most on small withdrawals.
How current are these BTC withdrawal fees?
Figures from Binance, Bitget, HTX and KuCoin are read from the exchange's API every 6 hours. The rest are reviewed by hand. A figure not re-checked for 14 days is marked Unverified, and after 30 days it is removed until checked again. Always confirm on the exchange before withdrawing.
